Vertiv Holdings Co (NYSE:VRT) shares moved higher Friday. There is a good chance this move continues.

I'm reiterating Vertiv Holdings (VRT) as a Strong Buy with a revised price target of $398, reflecting robust Q2 2026 results and upgraded guidance. Management raised its full-year outlook for revenue, adjusted operating profit, adjusted EPS, operating margin and free cash flow. I now estimate that the same five growth drivers from my previous article can lift 2027 adjusted EBITDA to about $5.03 billion.

Vertiv Holdings Co. remains a premier play on AI infrastructure, boasting a $15B backlog and a robust book-to-bill near 2.9x. Despite a Q2 revenue miss, VRT expanded margins 410 bps and grew adjusted EPS 60%, with management raising full-year guidance. I see the recent selloff as a misread; the thesis rests on backlog conversion and margin expansion, both of which strengthened.

Vertiv (VRT) is technically in oversold territory now, so the heavy selling pressure might have exhausted. This along with strong agreement among Wall Street analysts in raising earnings estimates could lead to a trend reversal for the stock.

Vertiv is upgraded to 'Buy' as earnings estimates rise despite a recent stock pullback. Q1 results showed strong EPS and margin growth, with a 51% YoY adjusted operating profit increase and a 22.6% margin. Management raised the FY 2026 outlook across all key metrics, projecting $14 billion in net sales and $6.70 EPS.

Big Tech's AI spending plans top $750B for 2026, boosting demand for AI infrastructure. MU, STX, WDC, SNDK and VRT could benefit as valuations remain attractive.

VRT beats second-quarter earnings on stronger margins and operating execution, even as sales miss estimates, while raising its 2026 outlook.

VRT highlights AI infrastructure growth, rising demand for data centers and a higher 2026 outlook after strong Q2 results.

Vertiv Holdings (NYSE:VRT | VRT Price Prediction) trades at $222.44, while the Wall Street consensus price target sits at $376.15, an implied upside of roughly 69%.

Vertiv Holdings (VRT) remains a Buy despite a sharp post-earnings selloff driven by Q2 2026 revenue timing shifts and execution risks. VRT's Q2 revenue missed by 3%, but operating profit surged 44% YoY with margin expansion to 22.6%; adjusted EPS beat by 6.4%. Management raised FY2026 guidance, citing a $15B backlog, plant expansions, and robust demand for AI/data center solutions, including proprietary fluid management technology.
