Tiblio's watchlist serves as your personal trading command center. Set up your watchlist and enable filtering to transform how you discover options trades across the platform.
What is Tiblio's Watchlist
Your watchlist tracks stocks you want to monitor. The system stores your symbols and applies them across Tiblio's screeners to show only relevant results.
Setting Up Your Watchlist
Access Your Watchlist
Navigate to the Watchlist page from the main menu. Your current symbols display with fundamental data including ratings, financial metrics, and valuation scores.
Adding Symbols
Click the add symbol button and enter a ticker. The system validates symbols and suggests alternatives if the symbol doesn't exist. Free users get 5 symbols maximum. Paid subscribers get up to 50 symbols.
Removing Symbols
Remove symbols using the delete button next to each entry. Removing a symbol also cleans up any notification settings you configured for that stock.
The Filter Feature
The watchlist filter represents the most valuable feature. Enable it in Watchlist Settings under Preferences.
Enabling Watchlist Filtering
Go to Watchlist Settings and check "Filter Screeners by Watchlist Symbols." Save your changes. This setting applies your watchlist filter across all Tiblio screeners.
How Filtering Works
When enabled, every screener shows only results from your watchlist symbols. Instead of scanning thousands of options, you see opportunities within your circle of competence.
Watchlist Data
Your watchlist displays fundamental analysis data for each symbol including:
- Rating scores and recommendations
- DCF analysis and valuation metrics
- Financial ratios like P/E and P/B
- Balance sheet strength indicators
- Altman Z-Score and Piotroski Score
Notification Setup
Configure notifications in Watchlist Settings to receive alerts about your symbols. Available notification types include:
- SEC 8-K filings
- Price target changes
- Analyst upgrades and downgrades
- Insider trading activity
- Senate trading disclosures
The system automatically subscribes your email to notifications for all watchlist symbols when you enable notification types.

Symbol Validation
Tiblio validates every symbol you add. Invalid symbols trigger a search with suggested alternatives.
Symbol Limits
Free accounts support 5 symbols. Paid subscriptions allow up to 50 symbols. The system prevents adding symbols when you reach your limit.
Automatic Cleanup
Removing a symbol from your watchlist automatically removes associated notifications and cleans up related data.
Getting Started
Follow these steps to set up your watchlist:
- Navigate to the Watchlist page
- Add 5-15 stocks you understand well
- Go to Watchlist Settings
- Enable "Filter Screeners by Watchlist Symbols"
- Configure desired notifications

Verify your notification settings in Watchlist Settings. The system requires valid email addresses for notifications.
