Dallas, Texas, July 14, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Valhi, Inc. (NYSE: VHI) announced today that, subject to the completion of quarter-end closing procedures, it expects to report second quarter 2026 earnings in a press release after market close on Thursday, August 6, 2026.

Valhi trades at a ~36% NAV discount, but we believe there is no clear catalyst for closure. Q2 faces margin pressure from higher energy costs in VHI's chemicals segment, which we expect will be at least partially offset by rising TiO2 prices. End-market demand, especially in property and homebuilding, remains a concern and will likely reflect in ongoing economics, limiting upside for VHI's core products.
